BRIEF
Hogy Lure Company aims to lead the industry in technique-specific products with a focus on product durability and performance with large fish. Their products are sold in tackle shops as well as through their online store. Hogy’s ecommerce traffic is directly stimulated by consistent video uploads to both Youtube and their website. Our team works with Hogy year-round, handling all aspects of video production from shooting all the way through post production.
GOALS
The aim of Hogy videos is to “simplify fishing”. Fishing is an information-heavy discipline that can prove daunting to newcomers. Many “would be” anglers are often steered-away from the sport due to a lack of readily available, easy to understand instructional content. While the assets are used for marketing, the videos themselves are educational resources that teach technique, strategy, ethical handling and harvesting of fish.
RESULT
This approach performs much better than traditional marketing approaches. Providing a library of digital resources builds brand loyalty and attracts new customers who require a simplified approach to fishing.
